Thanks for visiting Service Untitled. How may we help you?

Hello and thanks for visiting Service Untitled. This blog, though new, will try its best to provide its readers with information about customer service and the customer service. Most importantly, though, it will give its readers some tips and advice on how to improve both.

Depending on which studies you read and what industry you work in, the importance of customer service ranges from quite important to mission critical. Restaurants are usually graded on two things – food and service. Hotels are regularly judged on their customer service and its the service that sets hotel chains like the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton apart from Marriott and Hilton. Retail stores like Nordstrom have been successful largely due to their customer service (while as Wal-Mart seems to view it as a costly and pretty much unnecessary addon). Many technology companies of all shapes and sizes use their customer service as a key selling point and a great benefit of using them as opposed to their competition. Regardless, you get the point that having great customer service can make all the difference.

This blog will talk about quite a few things. There’ll me a mix of actual examples and how the involved company could make the service experience better, tips and advice for improving the customer service experience, examples of companies that have mastered customer service, customer service etiquette tips, and plenty more. I expect as the blog goes on, there’ll be more topics relating to customer service and the customer service experience discussed. It’s hard to tell at the moment, but we’ll see soon enough.

We’re shooting for regular updates (a few times a week) and hope to see you soon. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to send Service Untitled an email at email[at]serviceuntitled.com[dot]com. You’ll have to replace [at] and [dot] accordingly.

Thanks for reading and be sure to add this little blog to your favorites list, your blog’s link list, your RSS reader, or whatever else you wish.
