Hi Joe,

Thanks for your reply. You don't have to say The Family Says Team if you don't want to. Just something like:

"Best regards,

Family Says
www.familysays.com"

Like if you got an email from Microsoft, it'd say:

"Best regards,

Microsoft
www.microsoft.com"

You don't have to add a name or the word team. It makes it a bit impersonal, but it is coming from a company. I think you just need to figure out how personal you want it to be. Having it personal is fine for sure. There are worse things to be. :)

It looks like you are doing things right with the welcome email, so keep up the good work!

Thanks for the tips Doug! Having a link to the getting started guide and including some billing information are great ideas.

To answer your question: Yes, the "Access your site here:" line has the user's individual login URL.

Our welcome email is sent from our "support" email address which is the same as the one included in the body of the email. So to Ben's point, the user can easily hit "reply" and have their email make it right back to us.

Even though the email comes from our support address, I include my name at the bottom to add a personal touch. I think having it come from "The Family Says Team" may be too impersonal. What do you think?

I appreciate you taking the time to review our Family Says welcome email.

Ben,

Thanks for your comment.

That's a great point. Sending emails from "noreply@whoever.com" never helps the customers. I'm sure you get more support emails when you send it from support@whoever.com, but that's fine. It is worth it to improve the customer experience.

Thanks again for your comment!

I would agree with your point, Doug, about using a from name, but even more so I would send this email "from" the same address where the recipient is requested to drop them a line if they have questions. My opinion on this is because I feel it would be natural for many people to click "reply" if they did have a question, and as such, the reply should be routed to the right team members of Family Says who are best suited to respond to the question.
